We started with one printer. And one problem to solve.
Creative3DP started the way most maker things do, late nights, a desktop printer in the corner, and a problem that wouldn't go away.
The first design we ever published was a filament dryer because our PETG kept snapping mid-print. The second was a recycler because we were throwing too much plastic away. We put them on Kickstarter not because we wanted to start a company, but because we wanted to see if anyone else was running into the same problems. Turns out, a few thousand of you were.
Seven Kickstarter campaigns and 5,000+ backers later, we still design every product the same way, we build it for our own workshop first, then share what we learned with the rest of the maker community. Every design pack you buy is one we use ourselves.
We don't ship physical hardware. We ship the design. The STLs, the wiring, the BOM, the assembly video, and a real person at the other end of an email when you need them. The build is yours. The IP for what you print is yours. The satisfaction of finishing is yours.

Indie founders and product teams who replaced their old supplier — and never looked back.
Built the ExtrudeX in a weekend. Now I'm extruding filament from PET bottles my kids brought home from school. Sustainability that actually works.
AeroDry has rescued every spool I own. The temperature control is a game changer.
Got the commercial license and now I sell printed Luminarks at our local maker fair. Cleared $400 in one weekend.
Frequently asked.
What do I actually get when I buy?
A digital pack delivered right after checkout: STL files in print-ready format, wiring diagrams, full assembly video, bill of materials with direct sourcing links, and email support from a real engineer. No physical hardware ships.
What printers does this work with?
Any common consumer FDM printer (Bambu, Prusa, Creality, Ender, Voron). Resin designs (like Luminark) work on Elegoo, Anycubic, Phrozen. Print profiles included for the popular ones.
Personal Use vs +Commercial License?
Personal Use lets you print as many copies as you want for yourself, friends, and family. +Commercial License lets you build and sell, maker fairs, Etsy, your own shop. Same design pack, different rights.
How much will the parts cost me?
Varies by region. The BOM (bill of materials) for ExtrudeX runs around $227 if you source everything from AliExpress, $300–$400 from Amazon or local hardware stores in the US/EU. Every design pack includes a full parts list with direct buying links so you know exactly what you're spending before you print a single thing.
Can I get support if I'm stuck on assembly?
Yes. Reply to your order confirmation email, or write directly to info@creative3dp.com. A real engineer responds, usually within 24 hours. No tickets, no AI chatbot.
Can I modify the design?
Yes, for your own builds. You can't redistribute the original files. +Commercial License includes the right to sell printed copies of your build.
