What does each lamp cost?

The digital collection is a one-time purchase. Each physical lamp needs filament and hardware. Make more lamps to spread the file cost further.

Planning inputs: 650 g, $20/kg filament and $2 for magnets and feet. Replace these with your chosen design’s slice and local prices.

Lighting example: Amazon US Prime offer, checked 7 Oct 2026. USB supply extra if needed; replacement puck fit needs checking. See the source below.

See checked prices & fit notes

US price check · 7 October 2026. Uczdru USB RGB puck, one pack: $5.94 with Prime during the checked promotion; $6.99 shown as the typical price. The calculator uses the checked $5.94 Prime offer, which can expire. Supplier drawing: 59.5 × 8.3 mm. The 60 mm adapter is included; retention and cable clearance still need a fit check. A suitable USB power supply is additional if you do not already have one.

Axmvez two-pack: $11.56 ($5.78 each), but exact puck dimensions were not confirmed, so it is not the default. IKEA MITTLED: $20 per light, plus a driver and power cord. AliExpress prices could not be rechecked.

Magnet and foot costs are a separate editable allowance. Tax, shipping and any additional power supply are extra. Check the current price and chosen variant before ordering.

What else will you need?

Buy components separately. Match the dimensions below before ordering; supplier prices and shipping vary by country.

01

60 mm USB puck route

Use the included adapter to fit a 60 mm puck into the 83 mm puck base. A simple USB-powered option.

View specifications & sourcing links

Use the file 83mm puck to 60mm puck adapter.stl from the puck-base folder. Check puck height, cable exit and retention before final assembly.

  • 60 mm diameter, 5 V USB LED puck; match your power supply to its rating.
  • 8 × N52 magnets, 12 mm diameter × 2 mm thick.
  • 4 adhesive feet, 10 mm diameter × 3 mm thick.

Candidate: AuyiHomu 60 mm USB puck on Amazon US (2 W, approximately 8.9 mm tall; listed in cool white). This replacement has not been physically fit-tested. Check the selected variant and delivery to your country.

Original BOM links: 12 × 2 mm magnets · feet.

Golden Spiral is currently listed with its E27 version; its puck file needs correction before this route is offered for that design.

02

83 mm IKEA puck route

The original puck-light configuration, using the standard printed puck base.

View specifications & sourcing links

The guide specifies IKEA MITTLED, 83 mm diameter × 11 mm high. It requires a separate compatible IKEA driver and the correct regional power cord; it is not a USB puck.

Use 8 × N52 12 × 2 mm magnets and 4 × 10 × 3 mm adhesive feet.

IKEA MITTLED specifications (Netherlands). Use your local IKEA store for regional availability. KAPPLAKE is a different size.

03

E26 / E27 bulb route

Use the bulb-style base and hardware for a conventional LED bulb.

View specifications & sourcing links
  • Prewired E26/E27 socket holder with a 40 mm external mounting thread. Choose the correct plug and voltage for your country.
  • LED bulb, no more than 100 mm tall × 65 mm diameter. Match its cap to the holder.
  • 8 × N52 magnets, 8 mm diameter × 5 mm thick.
  • 4 adhesive feet, 10 mm diameter × 3 mm thick.

Original BOM links: socket holder · 8 × 5 mm magnets · feet. These listings can change; select the exact specification above.

Use LED lighting only. Follow the assembly guide and the electrical component manufacturer’s instructions.

From the included printing guide: use a 0.2 mm layer height and 2–3 walls. Keep the base flat on the bed and the shade opening facing up. Use supports where needed, then clean mating surfaces before assembly.

White filament gives a softer glow; dark filament keeps more light within the designed openings. Test magnet polarity before gluing. PETG is recommended for the bulb route; use LED lighting.

Before you print

A few useful answers.

Is this a finished lamp?

No. You are buying digital files to make the lamps with your own 3D printer. Filament, lighting, magnets, feet and tools are not included.

Which license should I choose?

Choose Personal for your own use, or Commercial if you plan to sell physical prints. Neither option permits sharing or reselling the digital files. The included license terms apply.

Can I buy the components locally?

Yes—shop by the dimensions and electrical specifications in the guide, rather than by a listing photograph. Prices, stock and delivery vary by country. If a component is unavailable, email info@creative3dp.com with your project, part and country and we’ll help you find a local purchase link.

Will my print look exactly like the images?

Renders show the design; photos show actual prints. Filament colour, layer height, print settings and the light source affect the finished appearance. Choose a warm-white LED for a warmer glow.

What printer and material do I need?

The standard puck base is 190 × 190 mm. Allow space for the chosen shade: the largest measured puck shades reach about 193 mm wide and 232 mm tall. The optional stand foot is 220 mm wide. Leave room for brims and supports.

Use the included guide for print orientation and material settings. Use LED lighting; PETG is recommended for the bulb route.

Can you help if my print or assembly goes wrong?

Yes. Email info@creative3dp.com with the design name, your printer, filament, slicer settings and a photo of the issue. We can help with printing, assembly and component selection. For a missing component, include your country so we can find a local purchase link.

Make room for something you made.
