The idea behind Creative3DP

The best part? You made it.

Making something yourself changes your relationship with it. You know how it fits together. You can replace a part, find a compatible component, and keep using the thing you built. That is the kind of ownership we design for.

01

Print it where you are.

Get the digital files and make the printable parts at home. Choose your filament and colours, then follow the project guide.

02

Source it on your terms.

Use the component list to find compatible hardware. If an item is unavailable, email us your country and we’ll help you find a local purchase link.

03

Build it. Understand it.

Assembly is part of the experience. Learn how the parts work together, and keep the files for future repairs and replacement prints.

A workshop of possibilities

What will you make next?

Practical machines. A better workspace. Objects that make a room your own. Start with the project that speaks to you.

Make what you need. Keep it useful.

A little more making. A little less throwing away.

We design around useful choices: digital delivery, parts you can print on demand, and components you can source yourself. Our recycling projects also let you explore turning suitable plastic waste into filament.

  • Replace a part instead of the whole object.
  • Let the files travel. Make the printed parts locally.
  • Give suitable plastic another use in your workshop.

Built with the maker community

Eight projects. One maker community.

Every campaign is another step in the same direction: helping more people make useful things themselves. Explore the projects our Kickstarter community helped bring to life.

6,571 total backings across 8 funded campaigns. People who backed more than one project are counted in each campaign. Campaign totals checked October 2026.

Independent ideas. Practical builds.

We start with a problem worth making something for.

Plastic that could have another use. Filament that needs a better home. A workspace that could work harder. A lamp you would love to make. Creative3DP turns these everyday ideas into projects you can build yourself.

We develop the designs and put the files, component information and build guidance together. You choose what to make, where to source it, and how it fits into your life.

Before you start

A few useful answers.

Am I buying a finished product?

The DIY projects featured here are digital files and build guidance. You print the parts, source the listed hardware and assemble the project yourself.

Will it work with my printer?

Check the individual project page for the required build volume, material guidance and component list before purchasing. Requirements differ by project.

What if I cannot find a component?

Email info@creative3dp.com with the project, component and your country. We’ll help you find a country-specific purchase link.

Can I sell the things I make?

Where a Commercial license is offered, choose it to sell physical prints under that license’s terms. Personal licenses cover personal use. Digital files must not be resold or shared.

There is more your printer can make.
